Account

How do I reset my password?

Use the password reset page. Enter the email address you used to sign up and we'll send a reset link within a few minutes. If you don't see the email, check your spam folder.

How do I delete my account?

Open the Konverse app, tap your profile, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account. You'll need to enter your password to confirm. Deletion removes your login, anonymizes your profile, and purges your personal data. Your username is reserved for 30 days before becoming available again. Posts in public conversations remain attributed to "Deleted User" to preserve context for other participants.

Can I change my username?

Usernames are currently permanent. If you need a different username, contact us and we can help in specific cases (e.g., impersonation, accidental typo on signup).

I think someone is impersonating me.

Email support@konverse.app with the username of the impersonating account and, if applicable, proof of your identity. We review these within 24 hours.

Safety & Moderation

How do I report a user or message?

In the app, tap any user's avatar or long-press a message to see the report option. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. You can also report stories and boosted content from the same menu.

How do I block someone?

Tap the user's avatar to view their profile, then tap the menu icon and select Block. Blocked users cannot see your content or contact you, and you won't see theirs. You can manage blocked users from Settings → Blocked Users.

Why was my content removed or hidden?

Konverse uses automated moderation to screen text and media for content that violates our community guidelines — harassment, hate speech, explicit material, violence, or similar. Automated systems occasionally get it wrong. If you believe your content was removed in error, email us and we'll review.

I received a warning or my account was suspended.

We issue warnings and suspensions for conduct that violates our Terms of Service. If you believe the action was taken in error, email us with your username and a brief explanation. We review appeals but decisions are not always reversed.

Subscriptions & Billing

How do I cancel Konverse Premium?

Cancel directly through your App Store account. On iPhone: Settings → your name at the top → Subscriptions → Konverse → Cancel. You'll keep premium access until the end of the current billing period.

I was charged but premium features aren't working.

Open the app and tap Restore Purchases on the Premium screen. This re-syncs your purchase from Apple. If that doesn't resolve it, email us with the date and amount of the charge and we'll investigate.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store subscriptions are handled directly by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request one. Konverse does not process refunds for App Store purchases.

Using Konverse

How do chatrooms work?

Search for a topic you care about and join the matching room. If a room doesn't exist yet, you can create it. Messages are live and visible to anyone in the room.

How long do stories last?

Stories expire four hours after posting and are removed from view. There's no archive — this is intentional.

Can I save my own stories?

Not currently. Stories are ephemeral by design. If you want to keep a copy, save the photo or video to your device before uploading.

I'm not getting push notifications.

Check that notifications are enabled for Konverse in iOS Settings → Notifications → Konverse. If they're enabled but still not arriving, try signing out and back in to refresh your device token.
